Using the most advanced technology in the industry, the lithium formulation of Harden X SI™ provides superior concrete strength and protection against salt intrusion, freeze/thaw cycles, abrasive materials, and the general wear and tear sustained by surfaces exposed to the elements over time. Harden X SI™ is not a coating, it completely penetrates the surface to become part of the structure in just one application—with no cracking, peeling or flaking for the life of the surface. Independent tests show that the chloride screens formed by the lithium technology in Harden X SI™ reduce salt absorption by 91%. STABLE IN ALL ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS The insolubility of the lithium in Harden X SI™ provides superior water resistance over sodium silicates which absorb moisture and cause the ASR that produces cracking and crazing after repeated expansion/contraction cycles. MAXIMUM RESISTANCE Harden X SI™ reduces surface porosity for maximum resistance to dusting, moisture, and chemical attack. Mohs hardness testing shows a 38% increase in abrasion resistance. Harden X SI™ also reduces the potential for efflorescence. EASY, FAST-DRYING, ONE-TIME APPLICATION Harden X SI™ is simply sprayed evenly over the surface with no flushing or removal/disposal of any excess material and is dry in 10 minutes (open to traffic in 30).
