Chemical reactions of lithium silicates are more stable than those caused by volatile conventional silicates, allowing the material to penetrate and react more evenly throughout the concrete for maximum hardening, sealing, and densification. Other silicates absorb moisture and cause ASR, weakening the substrate over time. Lithium silicates are insoluble, providing maximum water resistance.
