CureHard 309™

Lithium Cure / Hardener / Densifier

CureHard 309 is a clear, water-based, membrane forming, hardener, densifier, curing compound that meets the criteria for the ASTM C-309, for curing compound moisture retention requirements. CureHard 309 is an environmentally friendly compound that contains no solvents and has a VOC content that is compliant in all areas of the United States. A single component material that creates a stronger, more abrasion resistant surface compared to densification 28 days after pour. CureHard 309 will stand up to commercial and industrial floors that are looking for long-term protection against moisture, dirt, abuse, and heavy wear.

CureHard 309™ Uses

CureHard 309’s unique single component lithium formulation is applied to newly poured slabs immediately after the finishing process. CureHard 309 will form a film on the surface of the slab helping retain the moisture that can evaporate from the concrete, at the same time allowing the lithium silicate formulation to penetrate and react with the free lime to enhance both the curing and hardening characteristics. The unique chemistry also allows the material to break down within 14- 28 days with out the help of sunlight, also eliminating the need for expensive and hard to remove materials.

Harden X Plus is USDA approved for use in food & drug processing facilities and is safe for incidental contact with food.

Advantages of Lithium Technology for a Better Polish

Chemical reactions of lithium silicates are more stable than those caused by volatile conventional silicates, allowing the material to penetrate more deeply and react more evenly throughout the concrete. Harden XP reacts with the lime in the concrete to form stable, insoluble tri-­‐calcium silica structures for maximum hardening, sealing, and densification.
