Independent tests show that the chloride screens formed by the lithium technology in Harden X SI™ reduce salt absorption by 91%.

STABLE IN ALL ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

The insolubility of the lithium in Harden X SI™ provides superior water resistance over sodium silicates which absorb moisture and cause the ASR that produces cracking and crazing after repeated expansion/contraction cycles.

MAXIMUM RESISTANCE

Harden X SI™ reduces surface porosity for maximum resistance to dusting, moisture, and chemical attack. Mohs hardness testing shows a 38% increase in abrasion resistance. Harden X SI™ also reduces the potential for efflorescence.

EASY, FAST-DRYING, ONE-TIME APPLICATION

Harden X SI™ is simply sprayed evenly over the surface with no flushing or removal/disposal of any excess material and is dry in 10 minutes (open to traffic in 30). One application protects for the life of the concrete, leaving a light-reflective surface that is easy to maintain with minimal downtime and maintenance expense.
