ArmourGuard EPX is a penetrating, high-solid lithium silicate designed to give the look and protection of an industrial topcoat finish without the need for a regular epoxy. The material dries rapidly to a very hard, semi-gloss finish, protecting the surface from corrosion and chemical abuse while increasing abrasion resistance.
ArmourGuard EPX is designed for interior or exterior use on new or existing concrete. Advantages of Lithium Technology
Chemical reactions of lithium silicates are more stable than those caused by the volatile conventional silicates, allowing the material to penetrate more deeply and react more evenly throughout the concrete. Other silicates absorb moisture and cause ASR, raising the PH of the surface and weakening the substrate over time. Lithium silicates are PH neutral and insoluble, providing maximum water resistance.
