Grout X
Apply
1. Prepare the Surface
-
Grind the concrete floor to at least 80-grit metal bond stage. This opens the surface and removes surface contaminants.
-
Vacuum thoroughly to remove all dust and debris.
2. Mixing Grout X
Grout X has (2) components; Part A and Part B. To mix, pour Part B into Part A and blend for 15 seconds. Do not mix more product than can be placed in the space of three (3) minutes. If pigment is required, add 1 oz. per every 10 oz. of mixed (A+B) material. Stir the pigmented mixture thoroughly until the color is homogenous.

2. Apply Grout X
-
Apply grout slurry across the floor using a metal trowel, squeegee, or swing machine with a soft pad.
-
Work the material into all pinholes, small cracks, and surface imperfections.
-
Ensure even coverage, but do not allow heavy buildup or thick puddles.
-
Allow the grout to dry completely (typically 1-2 hours, depending on ambient conditions).
-
Floor should appear matte and dry to the touch.
-
Regrind the floor using the same grit used prior to grouting (usually 80- or 100- grit metal).
-
This removes excess grout and refines the filled surface.
-
Vacuum or auto-scrub to remove all residue.
-
Proceed with finer grinding steps (resin-bond tools from 100-grit upward).
-
Apply densifier (if not previously used as needed per the polishing process).
